Our NEW PCA® Perlator® Auto Clean Aerator has a plunger inside the aerator which allows the aerator to always be free from sediment and debris. Here is how it works:
When the faucet is on, the water flows and the plunger is closed. Sediments and debris are accumulated on the dome screen
When the faucet is off, the plunger is open. Sediments and debris are accumulated on the dome screen
Once the faucet is turned on, and the water begins to flow, the sediments and debris are flushed out through the now open orifice. After the sediment and debris are flushed out, the plunger closes again.
Now the water coming from the faucet is fresh and clean and the plunger remains closed.
